The visiting Liberty Ranch team handed the Kimball High sophomores a 54-15 loss tonight at Steve Lopez Stadium.

Kimball coach Dave Brown said the Jaguars’ defense couldn’t stop Liberty Ranch, which took a 33-15 lead at the half.

Still, Kimball (1-5) put together a couple of scoring drives in the second quarter. One ended with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Zack Johnson to Lorenzo Hotel and the other with Johnson’s 35-yard pass to Alex Toledo.
