Kimball girls lead all-league team picks for water polo

Kimball High junior Colby Chase and senior Julihanna Mandeville, standouts on the girls varsity water polo team, were chosen for the all-Valley Oak League first team.

Seniors Sydnie Black and Aubry Snyder earned second-team recognition.

The Jaguars placed second in the league and lost in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II playoffs.

The Kimball boys varsity team selections included junior Trevor Trew (first team) and senior Steve Cole and sophomore Daniel Van Niekerk

(second team).

Tracy High sophomore Chris Ramon was named to the all-San Joaquin Athletic Association. Also honored were junior Chris Kennedy, (second team) and sophomore Taylor Mellick (honorable mention).

All-SJAA picks for Tracy’s girls were senior Allie Britt, second team, and junior Dallyce Marglon, honorable mention.

Information about the all-Tri-City Athletic League picks from West High was not available.
