In Service: Local woman enters Air Force technical school

Airman Vanessa Hollins of Tracy graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, on March 30. She is attending technical school at Sam Houston Air Force Base in Texas as an E3 airman.

Hollins moved to Tracy in 2009 following her graduation from Livermore High School, and she attended Las Positas College in Livermore and Santa Monica College in Santa Monica before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force.

She is the daughter of Alicia Hollins of Tracy.
