About 300 people danced to music played by Greg Wallace of Elite DJ during the Disco and Donating fundraiser for the McHenry House Tracy Family Shelter.
A steak dinner prepared by Mike Bacchetti accompanied live and silent auctions that benefit the homeless families that stay at the house.
Shelter director Armenia Pereira said McHenry House served 411 people, including 248 children, in 2012. At least seven families are housed and fed there at one time.
Vince Marchini, president of the shelter, said an open house scheduled for May 1 will mark the 25th anniversary of the founding the facility.
Jeanette Pombo Marcucci served as chairwoman of the committee that planned the fund-raising evening.
