Dr. Mohr, born April 26, 1926, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and later attended University of California, Berkeley, and Berkeley School of Optometry.
He had lived in Tracy 52 years and maintained an optometry practice in Tracy and Manteca for 41 years.
Dr. Mohr was a member of Mount Oso Masonic Lodge No. 460, Tracy Elks Lodge No. 2031, Joaquin Chapter No. 348 of Order of the Eastern Star and Tracy Duck Club.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Judy Mohr of Tracy; three children, Steven Mohr of Milpitas, Truda Mohr of Sacramento and Sandra Bader, and her husband, Blake, of Walnut Creek; a brother, Ted Mohr of Orinda; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Oso Masonic Lodge, 1601 Tracy Blvd. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 9 to 11 a.m. that same day at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave.
