A celebration of life is planned Saturday in Fremont for Gregory Arnold Ojeda, 63, a Tracy resident for 17 years, who died June 14 at a Redwood City hospital.

Mr. Ojeda was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Watsonville and retired after working 34 years for United Postal Service.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Ojeda of Tracy; four children, Katie Ojeda of Sunnyvale, Monica (Ojeda) Hight, and her husband, Caleb, of Oakley, Kimberly (Ojeda) Southward, and her husband, Matthew, of Tracy and Daniel Ojeda, also of Tracy; three stepchildren, Veronica Rubalcava, and her husband, Steve Raamakers, of Fremont, Sylvia Kalotkin, and her husband, Jason, of Hayward, and Steven Lothrop, also of the Bay Area; and eight grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister, Adriane (Ojeda) Hartman, and her husband, Jim, of Argyle, Texas.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Virginia and Manuel Ojeda.

The celebration of Mr. Ojeda’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at his stepdaughter’s home in Fremont, 33222 Falcon Drive.
