Girls Basketball: Kimball wins huge over Pacheco

The Kimball High Jaguars dominated Pacheco High in Los Banos for a 43-19 win on Monday, Dec. 10.

Leading scorer for Kimball (5-2) was sophomore Allie Schmidt with 17 points for the night, and sophomore Alexis Clark scored 11 points.

The team placed third in the Stonebarger Tournament at Liberty High in Brentwood with a 61-43 win over Liberty on Saturday, Dec. 8.

The Jaguars expanded on a first-half lead as sophomore Allie Schmidt scored 21 points for the night.

Sophomore Sarah Nunes, who was selected to the all-tournament team, scored 14. Junior Noni Kuumba, another all-tournament player, and sophomore Alexis Clark each tallied 14.

Kimball took a 70-20 loss to Bradshaw Christian in the semifinals on Friday, Dec. 7, and opened the tournament with a 72-56 win over Acalanes.
