Mr. Wendelin was born June 3, 1956, in San Mateo and lived in Tracy 20 years.
He was a local Little League coach for nine years.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Wendelin of Tracy; three sons, Dustin Wendelin, and his wife, Candace, of Oregon and Bob Koury and Eric Wendelin Jr., both of Tracy; mother, Lois McIsaac of Tracy; three siblings, Wendy Roseland of Hawaii, Lori Burger of Washington state and U.S. Navy Cmdr. Steven Wendelin of Washington, D.C.; and several grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his father, Randolph Wendelin; a son, Aaron Wendelin; two brothers, Randy Wendelin and Michael Wendelin; and a stepfather, Chuck McIsaac.
Saturday’s service will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home. A guest book can be found at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
