Renee Beza Rios of Tracy will wed Carlos Garcia of Riverbank on Nov. 14, 2009, at Morris Chapel at the University of the Pacific in Stockton.

Carlos proposed to Renee on a trip to Napa to celebrate both Valentine’s Day and his birthday. He stopped at a spot called Fort Point with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and got down on one knee.

Renee graduated in 2000 with a master’s in education from the University of the Pacific. She is a second-grade teacher at South/West Park School, and this is her 10th year teaching.

The groom-to-be is the son of Carmen Aguilar Garcia and Elpidio Garcia of Modesto. He is the youngest of 12 siblings. He is the brother of Pete Garcia of Fresno, Adolfo Garcia of Livingston, Pedro Garcia of Ceres, Sergio Garcia and Arthur Garcia, both of Westley, Margarita Padilla, Teresa Magana and Consuelo Iniguez, all of Modesto, and Teresa Pelayo, Carmen Pimentel and Leticia Rodriguez, all of Ceres.
