Daine, a 10-week-old kitten, is sweet, curious, playful and a big purrer. He is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations and guaranteed healthy.

During July and August, East of Eden will offer a reduced adoption fee for all cats and kittens.

• East of Eden is a nonprofit animal rescue group. Its volunteers are at Petco, 2888 Grant Line Road, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturdays. For information: 815-5186.
