Tioga had a 15-12 lead in the first half before Emma Richardson and Mia Gomez hit their shots in the third quarter to put the Dragons out front.
The team is the first at Delta Charter to use the new gym.

Tracy 43, Golden Valley 23
Tracy’s girls ran away with their home game against Golden Valley in the second quarter on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
The Bulldogs (1-1) stayed ahead of the Cougars (0-5) for the rest of the night. Leading scorer for Tracy was Karsi Fyfe with 11 points. Emily Anchartechahar scored eight and Tammy Serrato tallied five.
Pacheco 38, Millennium 28
The Falcon girls made their offense work in the second half on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Kimball High, but it was too late to overcome visiting Pacheco’s 26-6 halftime lead.
The Falcons (1-4) outscored the Panthers (3-3) in the fourth quarter when Millennium freshman Ashley Hart scored five of her six points on the night. Junior Dejah Barney and sophomore Perrillen Zuniga scored four each.
West High finishes runner-up
West High’s varsity girls finished in second place at the Chavez Tournament in Stockton over the weekend.
The Wolf Pack (2-2) opened with a 55-47 win over Chavez in the opening game on Nov. 29, but then fell to Edison, 64-31, in the second game on Friday, Nov. 30.
West senior Emma Bell then led the Wolf Pack offense for a 54-46 win over Stagg on Saturday, Dec. 1.
She scored 24 points, including eight in the first quarter to give West and early lead. In all, Bell scored 41 points over three games to make the all-tournament team.
Nini Woodward scored 25 points for West through the tournament and Kate Bell scored 24.
Blue-Gold Tournament
Kimball High’s sophomore girls took second place at the annual eight-team Blue-Gold Tournament, held Thursday, Nov. 29, through Saturday, Dec. 1, at West High.
Kimball beat Lodi 35-32 on Nov. 29, then beat West 38-26 on Friday. They lost to Beyer, 37-34, in the final on Saturday.
The Jaguars’ leading scorer was Chrysell Hayley with 27 points for the weekend, which earned her all-tournament honors.
