Gayle Ann Yarbor, 58, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, in Tracy. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, followed immediately by a reception, at Valley Ministries, 4118 Coronado Ave., in Stockton. All are welcome to join the family in a celebration of Mrs. Yarbor's life after 5 p.m. that same day at the Tracy home of her sister Apryl Yarbor, 730 Menay Drive.

Lloyd White, 80, of Tracy, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, at his home. Services are pending. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

Virginia Montoya, 78, of Tracy, died Friday, Jan. 10. Visitation will be observed from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. A prayer service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home, followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 2650 Madden Ave., in San Jose. Menandro Baria Prudente, 77, died Friday, Jan. 10, at his Tracy home. Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Jan. 25 at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 24 at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., and a guest book can be signed at

Marjorie S. Larsen, 97, a former Tracy resident, died Jan. 9 at Kindred Valley Gardens in Stockton. At her request, no services are planned. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

Lisandro “Bud” Ceja, 39, of Manteca, a former Tracy resident, died Jan. 6 in Manteca. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Visitation will be observed from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Louella “Lou” (Thomas) Barber, 72, a Tracy High School alumna, died Jan. 6. A celebration of her life will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Fields Chapel UMC, 1331 Fields Chapel Road, off Georgia Highway 20, in Canton, Ga. Brunch at Mrs. Barber’s home will follow immediately after the service.

Alan Smith, 77, of Tracy, founder of A&L Financial Services, died in his sleep at home Jan. 1. Mr. Smith, a retired lieutenant commander of the U.S. Navy, will be buried at sea. As he had wished, no services are planned.

Randy Allen Curry, 56, a Tracy native who worked in the trucking industry, died unexpectedly Dec. 30 at his home in Fresno. A celebration of Mr. Curry’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at 520 S. Sierra Ave., in Oakdale.

Betty Eilene (Morris) Hopwood, 75, of Twain Harte, a Tracy High School graduate, died Dec. 13 after a brief illness. A celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. Jan. 25 at Calvary Chapel Sonora, 19889 Soulsbyville Road, in Soulsbyville.
