Thomas Richard “Dick” Lawton, 87, of Tracy, who retired from the Tracy defense depot, died Tuesday morning. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 27150 Wilkinson Way.

James Roy “Jim” Gannon, 75, a Tracy resident since 1969, died Monday in Tracy. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. A guest book is available online at www.frymemorialchapel.com. Sharon E. (Campodonico) Adams, 62, of Tracy, died Monday in Hughson. A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Nancy Taylor-Soto, 66, of Manteca, who had attended Tracy schools and lived in Tracy for many years, died Saturday at a Stockton hospice center after an extended illness. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, in Manteca.

Bertina Escobar, 78, a 51-year Tracy resident, died Saturday at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Contributions in Mrs. Escobar’s name may be sent to Lolly Hansen Senior Center, 375 E. Ninth St., Tracy, CA 95376.

Donald Walter Rock, 67, of Camarillo, a former Tracy resident who retired from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, died Feb. 27 in Tijuana, Mexico. He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer two months earlier. A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at Faith Community Church, 723 S. D St., in Oxnard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Ventura County Rescue Mission.
