Chrissy, a female adult terrier mix, is among the pets available for adoption at Tracy Animal Shelter.
Other pets in need of loving, permanent homes are a 1-year-old male rottweiler mix, an adult male border collie mix and a young adult male terrier mix. The city requires all dogs 4 months old and older to be licensed. Current rabies vaccination is required before obtaining a license.
The cost is $4 a year for dogs that have been spayed or neutered and $12 for unaltered dogs. Licenses are available at the shelter. The shelter is at 370 Arbor Road and is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
