A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated April 5 for former Tracy resident Catherine “Cathy” (Cramer) Namahoe, 47, of Escalon.

She died March 10 at her son’s home in Tracy following a long battle with cancer.

Born in Tracy on June 9, 1965, Mrs. Namahoe attended Jefferson School and graduated from Tracy High School in 1983, playing on the Bulldogs basketball and softball teams. She moved to Escalon in 2004 and worked for Blue Diamond Growers.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Namahoe of Escalon; and two children, Jeremy Bedford of Tracy and Carly Bedford of San Francisco.

Also surviving are four brothers, Robert Cramer of Manteca, Joe Cramer, and his wife, Rosemary, of Oakland and Vince Cramer, and his wife, Sue, and Patrick Cramer, all of Stockton; and four nieces.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Bridie Cramer of Tracy.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. April 5 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed immediately by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. A celebration of her life will take place at Oak Island, where she was a longtime member of Tracy Wildlife Association.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356.
