Kimball High's freshman and sophomore boys basketball teams finished at the top of the Valley Oak League this season.

The freshmen finished at 22-4 overall, 13-1 in the Valley Oak League, and claimed their league title. The Jaguars lost to Central Catholic High by just four points early in the season, and every other team the Jaguars lost to — including West, Sierra and East Union — they beat later in the season.

The team's scoring leader was Billy Hakimi, who scored 300 points over 26 games, including 41 3-point shots and a 71.3 shooting percentage on 2-point field goals. Vincent Llacuna and Denzel Bautista each scored 150 points during the season, and Brandon Baty scored 135 points, including 92 points in the last nine games of the season.

Kimball's sophomores went 22-5, 11-3 in the VOL, for the second sophomore league title in three years for the Jaguars. They outscored opponents by an average of 53-40.

Coach Justin Gregory said that the team shared the ball well, with seven different players finishing as game-high scorers over the course of the season. The overall scoring leader for the Jaguars was Rubin Mann, who scored 12.5 points per game. Navneet Khosa averaged 7.6 points per game.
