Tracy High School students went on a whirlwind tour of the 1950s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s on the way to crowning Paul Gleason and Tammy Serrato as their homecoming king and queen Wednesday, Oct. 17, during a nighttime rally at West High School’s Steve Lopez Stadium.

Disco balls and poodle skirts shared the football field as clubs and classes from Tracy High performed dance routines and skits for an audience of fellow students and parents.

Homecoming festivities continue tonight with the annual powder puff game, pitting the seniors girls against the juniors in flag football. That game will take place after the regular freshman football game, which begins at 5 p.m. at Steve Lopez Stadium.

Homecoming activities wind down Friday, Oct. 19, with the annual parade through downtown beginning at 3 p.m.

That night, the Bulldogs will host the Lincoln High Trojans at Steve Lopez Stadium, with the sophomore game scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and the varsity matchup following at 7:15 p.m.
