Jarvis Johnson, 30, and Cameron Shepherd, 32, are charged with prior serious felony, personal use of a firearm, second degree robbery, false imprisonment by violence and special allegations due to a prior conviction.
Shephard faces two enhancement charges that could add prison time if convicted on the current charges because he has already served two prison terms. His previous convictions were on charges of accessory after the fact, sale of a controlled substance and assault with a deadly weapon, according to court documents.
On Sept. 2, 2011, the Oakland men entered the bank, then located at 1960 Grant Line Road, around 10:10 a.m. and told the employees they were being robbed.
The two men were reportedly seen with a handgun and an automatic weapon of some kind. They ordered everyone to the floor and then one of the men jumped the tellers counter to retrieve the money. The pair was last seen running across the parking lot and jumping a retaining wall near Rite Aid.
The trial will begin at 8:15 a.m. in Department 25 of San Joaquin County Superior Court on Friday.
Both men are being held without bail in San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
