Cody, Your last comment is akin to those who post telling others to get a life and they must not have much else to do with their day, yet in doing so they are participating just the same.

Who cares? Apparently you. Otherwise why not just read and move on?

Who cares?

Gay Americans, especially couples.

Me and others who have concerns about the increasingly long arm of the judiciary, interpretation of our Constitution, tenants of democracy, you know, those little things in life.

Jester and those who share his/her opinion and concerns.

People whose religious beliefs whether right or wrong, hinders them from supporting or at least accepting gay marriage.

I may be missing someone but there's an answer to your question, hope that helps provide some clarity as to who cares.

I am not about to cry over not ending up with an Amazon warehouse here. In general I am one of those evil anti-growth folks someone was whining about. Forgive me for liking open space and peace and quiet and not being willing to trade it for lousy jobs.

Its not that I am against letting a business come in if they represent good career opportunities, which are sorely needed here. I just think we need to consider the quality of the positions being created. Would an Amazon warehouse create worthwhile career opportunities? I dont think so. They might hire a fair number of folks but it would be for low paying, no skills, no benefit jobs rather than decent career opportunities. What percentage of their positions for example would offer full benefits, opportunities for growth/advancement and a minimum 100k salary?

Ugh. This is a misuse of the traffic circle. I am all for traffic circles in place of lights. They are far more efficient. Everyone can keep moving and thus get higher gas mileage while getting places quicker. That said, this one is just silly. A traffic circle should be in a place where an intersection with a light would otherwise be needed. Where they stuck it, there is no need. Its just an impediment. If you want me to go downtown then make it easy for me to get in, get what I want, and leave. Dont make it harder or make it slower process.

"A caller reported that someone followed him in an unknown car from Prime Outlets, at 1005 Pescadero Ave. at 6:48 p.m. He said the other car followed him throughout the city and kept driving close to his bumper. He said he was concerned it might be related to the homicide on Saturday, Feb. 4. Police told him there was no reason to believe the suspects’ family or friends know him or his vehicle. He was advised about what to do the next time he believes he is being followed."

I wonder what TPD's suggestion was for the caller to do next time he was being followed. Could it have been to call the police?
