The Reno Philharmonic is proud to present this year’s Family Concert, Voices of America. Take a musical journey with the many and varied voices of America, from Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” to the newly commissioned “Chesapeake: Summer of 1814” to Davidson Fellow, Reylon Yount performing on the Chinese dulcimer, the yangqin. Conductor Laura Jackson will lead the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and they will be joined by tenor Albert Lee and soprano Jennifer Tibben as narrators. Details at

Tickets are free and will be available at the Pioneer Center starting one hour before the show.

Doors open at 9:00 AM with a host of pre-concert, hands-on activities for kids (and the young at heart).
